Wonder Woman - Must See Film This Summer

Image
From start to finish, this film was spellbinding.   From the second it came on screen, an action-filled soundtrack paired with flat two-dimensional graphics flooded the screen & allowed a glimpse of Wonder Woman’s journey in life before she evolved into a pop culture world-while phenomenon.     Her Amazon spirit set an entirely different tone for anyone who was used to the television version of Diana Prince. Gal Gadot, an Isreali actress, martial arts expert, and model easily stepped into the tall boots of the warrior princess and made the transition making us feel she wasn’t just an actress playing a part.   She breathed the essence of Diana, Princess of Themyscira  - originally known in DC comics as Paradise Island.  This film starts in today’s time with a mysterious photo delivery from a WWI era.   It’s Diana posing center with two soldiers on either side of her – all with a victorious smile.   One of those soldiers being Chri...

Use What you Have

In 1991 and 1992, I lost both my grandparents. They were my heroes and were one of the only constants I had other than my immediate family. As a military brat, I moved on average every two years so these two lovely gems were the part of our standard summer vacations when we would always come back to Oklahoma to visit. New Books to Release This Year

It's interesting to see a story evolve and characters grow, as one writes a book.  In writing my third book, Coming Home, I have grown leaps and bounds as an author.  I've been stretched and refined, which I think will result in wonderful things for this book. Initially, my intent was to weave a great storyline around Anne La Sal, a character from my first two books, Finding Kylie & Facing Redemption.  In both books, she is the ever-supportive best friend who is developed more in Facing Redemption to garner the character to withstand her own story. Coming Home was originally going to be a dual storyline about Anne and her estranged sister Grace, however, I started to fall in love with Grace's character so much that I decided to give her own story with Saving Grace. These four books are the Forgiveness Series. That being said I've got two books releasing this year... Coming Home & Saving Grace. They will release at the time so that readers do not have to w...
