Zac Efron All Grown Up!

Okay, I admit it.  I'm almost forty, and I watch High School Musical movies. It wasn't because my child wanted to - because I had to make him sit through one the first time I watched it. After that - my little guy (he was seven or eight at the time) was not in for any more of his mommy's movies.

Why did I enjoy them? And why did I have to see 17 Again ? Um  ... Hello! Zac Efron - that's why! I think a little part of all of us, women over the age of thirty, secretly still have a crush on the ideal quintessential boy next door.  Except this one happens to also sing and dance.

Well, ladies take a look.  Zac's next film shows him all grown up! And I have to say I'm pretty impressed with his next project, The Lucky One. This film is adapted from the book, by Nicholas Sparks, another one of my favorites.

As a military brat, I love most flicks that show the heart of a hero and the struggle to overcome.  So this movie has everything I need to sit back and enjoy... a special message, a love story, and a handsome hero.  I think this one will be really good!

Take a look at the trailer and let me know what you think ...

U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive—a photograph he found of a woman he doesn’t even know. Learning her name is Beth (Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.

I'm not a big Zac Efron fan, but this looks like it might be worth watching. Plus I must admit that I'm digging the facial hair on him :)
